Bill Mathews
CEO/Founder

William Mathews, President, since 1986: was born in Tennessee and relocated with his family to Indiana as a twelve year old and has made Indiana his home. Mr. Mathews married Jackie, a native Hoosier farm girl, and the couple has been blessed with two children and four grandchildren. Mr. Mathews, an honorably discharged officer of the U.S. Army, pursued undergraduate studies at Indiana Central College (now the University of Indianapolis), in business administration and economics and graduate studies at Indiana University School of Law, in the general study of law. Mr. Mathews enjoys his family, reading and bird dogs.

Jackie Mathews
Secretary Treasurer

Born in Knightstown, Indiana to a young farmer and his wife; Jackie was delivered at home by the local doctor and his nurse! She is a lifetime Hoosier having graduated from Spiceland High School, in a class of just 26. She attended Indiana Central College now known as University of Indianapolis, where she focused on accounting and business related courses. She has 35 years experience in accounting, book keeping and payroll related tasks. She has been married for 41 years to Bill Mathews, founder and president of Mid America Health, Inc. They have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Jackie enjoys traveling, decorating, antique shopping and shopping in general!

Patrick Murphy
President

Patrick Michael Murphy, BS, is President of Mid America Health. Mr. Murphy has almost twenty years experience in corporate management. He joined MAH in 1997 as Operations Director. In 2002, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, and has been the organization’s President since 2009. Mr. Murphy is responsible for the strategic planning, business growth, customer relations, and operations for all lines of MAH business. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the organization. Prior to his career with MAH, Patrick worked as a licensed Financial Planner. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Financial Management from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

José Lopez
Vice President of Operations (Corrections Division)

José has eighteen (18) years experience in institutional healthcare with roles in operations, management, staffing, recruiting and human resource services. He joined MAH in 2001 as Director of Human Resources and in 2005 was promoted to Vice President of Corrections. Today, he manages, supervises and directs the day-to-day operations at dental clinics in California, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio and South Carolina, and plays an active role in customer support and satisfaction. He received dual undergraduate degrees in Business & Administration and Psychology from St. Louis University, and later on received a Masters in Business & Administration from St. Louis University. José enjoys time with his wife, Julie, and their 3 children, a good piece of chocolate and a good laugh.

Keith Walls
Chief Financial Officer

Keith Walls, Chief Financial Officer at Mid America Health since 2008, has experience ranging from “Big 8″ public accounting to real estate accounting to manufacturing accounting, resulting in over 25 years of progressive leadership in corporate finance and management. Keith has been married since 1985, has three children, is an active member of his church and has also served on various boards and commissions for the local school corporation. He is an avid fan of his three children’s music and sporting performances and enjoys following IU and Butler basketball.

Kim Mosby
Vice President of Human Resources

Kim Mosby joined Mid America Health, Inc. in 2005 with more than 30 years experience in Human Resources. He has worked in correctional healthcare since 1999, bringing with him a strong knowledge of the correctional health field. He is a retired Coast Guard Officer with over 22 years on active duty. His knowledge of government contracting and military systems has played a vital role in the recent growth of the military division. He is directly responsible for the Affirmative Action Plan and plays a key role in strategic planning and development of personnel policies. He holds both a BA and BS degree from Columbia College and is a member of the American Legion Post 252.

Kimberly Whitis
Vice President of Operations

Kimberly has nearly 20 years’ experience in the dental field, 13 of those with Mid America Health, Inc. She has worked in many aspects of the profession including General Practice, Oral Surgery, Portable Dental Route Coordination and Office Management. Kimberly also worked as the Pacific Northwest Regional Manager based in Seattle, Washington and as the Indianapolis based Director of Recruitment, for the Department of Corrections Division, where she staffed approximately 75 correctional facilities. As the Director of Recruitment, she was also responsible for developing a comprehensive staff training program as well as maintaining successful marketing and advertising campaigns. Kimberly is currently the Vice President of Operations for the Skilled Nursing Home Division, where she oversees the dental care of several thousand nursing facility residents in multiple states. Kimberly earned her degree from Indiana Univ. /Purdue Univ. at Indianapolis and is currently furthering her education by attending the University of Indianapolis. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and son, quilting and cruising in her 1966 Mustang.

Rachele Gaudin
Director of Recruitment

Rachele attended IUPUI earning a Bachelor’s in Psychology, with an Industrial/Organizational Specialization and a Human Resource Management Certification, both from Purdue University. She has 10 years financial and customer service experience prior to joining Mid America Health, Inc. Rachele is primarily responsible for recruiting and staffing positions. Since joining Mid America Health, Inc. in 2007, she has reduced the number of vacancies in the Federal Division, streamlined the application process, and added efficiency to the administration of benefits. In her spare time, Rachele raises three boys and a husband.

Beth Parks
Director of Operations; School Smiles Division 

Beth joined the Mid America Health, Inc. team as a Recruiting Specialist in May of 2008, and has since transitioned into the role of Operations Manager for the Corrections Division. She has worked within the field of dentistry for over six years, with experience in oral surgery, pediatric and general dentistry. She is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations within the dental clinics in Mid America Health’s Corrections Division. Beth received a Bachelor’s Degree, in Health Administration, from the University of Phoenix in 2006. She also holds an Associate of Science Degree in Office Administration from Ivy Tech Community College. When not in the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys!

Christine Howe
Director of Operations; Skilled Nursing Facility Division

Christine joined Mid America Health, Inc. in 2001 with more than 25 years experience in the dental field. Christine began her career with Mid America Health working in the Corrections Division, eventually moving into jails with the portable division. Once Christine moved into the home office she came in as the Training Manager for all new employees in the portable jail division. Christine has transitioned into the Operations Manager of the portable skilled nursing facility division in FL, GA and MD. When not in the office, Christine enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children and 3 yorkies.
